This Is What GOT7’s Friendship Is Like Now, According To Youngjae
GOT7‘s Youngjae recently did an interview with The Star magazine in which he discussed his acting career, his music, and of course, his fellow GOT7 members.
More specifically, he discussed the relationship they have with each other, and how it has changed in the year since they left JYP Entertainment. All the members have now embarked on successful solo careers at their new labels, and though some of them are living in different countries, Youngjae claims they all still maintain a close bond.
Fans probably won’t be surprised that the members are still close as they have often made time to publicly support each other and their careers, such as when the majority of the members reunited to celebrate Youngjae’s First Global Online Fan Meeting, or when they joined each others’ dance challenges.
But given that the members are no longer seeing each other on a daily basis or working together, it may come as a surprise that, over the past year, their relationship has actually grown stronger than ever.
We still have fun in our group chat talking about useless things. In fact, our relationship is actually better.
— Youngjae
Not only that, but according to Youngjae, even when the members fight, they are now better able to resolve things in a fair and mature manner.
Even if we fight, we always resolve it through negotiation and compromise. We’re the type of people to talk things through until we get it solved and the type to support each other in order to get things done together.
It is incredibly heartwarming to see that, after so many years together, the relationship between the GOT7 members only continues to grow stronger. It is also encouraging for fans, as it means that, despite being apart for now, the members are still the same strong team they always were. Even stronger, in fact!
