GOT7's Jackson Wang Reveals The Unique Way He Will Be Promoting His New Album "Magic Man"

Fans of GOT7‘s Jackson Wang have been waiting for his upcoming album Magic Man for nearly two years. Jackson recently shared the first music video from the album, “Blow.”

Jackson is currently in Thailand for his performance at THE MATCH Bangkok Century Cup as part of the Fresh Air Festival at Rajamangala Stadium. Ahead of his performance, he took the time to appear at a press conference for the event.

He answered various questions, from his thoughts on success to how he feels about being in Thailand again for the first time in three years. Jackson kept fans entertained throughout the press conference!

When asked about his upcoming album, Jackson said that all the tracks will be performed live before the album’s official release! This is very different from regular album releases where an artist will pre-release a track or two or release an album highlight medley.

This is not entirely unexpected: Jackson performed another track, “Cruel,” during his performance at Coachella, before its release later this month.

Fans are extremely excited about his album regardless of how or when they hear it. Excluding his surprise mixtape, Jackson is one of three GOT7 members that have not released solo albums since the group left JYP Entertainment.
