Here’s What Sandara Park Does When She’s In The Philippines
YG Entertainment‘s Sandara Park loves to visit the Philippines and no wonder when there’s so much to do there, here are a few pointers on what Sandara thinks are the best activities to include on your trip to the island country.
Sandara Park, who spent some time growing up in the Philippines, is one of the most influential Korean stars in the country. She was even nicknamed “BoA of the Philippines” by some of her dedicated fans. From time to time, she can be spotted on Pinoy TV and it’s plainly obvious that the singer simply loves to travel to the islands.
A few months ago on a special episode of KBS‘s Battle Trip, Sandara Park and her dear friend and fashion model Hyoni Kang traveled to the Philippines to showcase the wonders of the sunny islands. The special episode was a “Return Match” that was a round two for a previous Philippines travel episode featuring the two.
A misconception in Korea is that the Philippines isn’t the safest place to visit, but Sandara wanted to show to her Korean viewers that this simply wasn’t true.
“In Korea, in the news and in the newspapers, a lot of unfortunate events have been reported. That’s why a lot of people think it’s dangerous. I want the people to realize that the Philippines isn’t entirely dangerous. I’ll show you a new side to the Philippines,”

Traveling to the stunning island of Coron, the girls visited lake Kayangan that is one of the island’s primary attractions. The beautiful lake is nestled into the mountain walls and has absolutely crystal-clear waters.
The two stars even rented an entire island just to have lunch. Both of them were equally shocked how easily the “island rental” was managed, but it must’ve been a once in a lifetime experience.
They also made their way to Bonifacio High Street in Manila during their trip to shop and visit restaurants.
Boracay, which is one of the smaller islands of the Philippines, is known for its amazing white-sanded beaches and is even ranked as one of the best places to relax in the world.
On the island of Luzon in the Philippines, there is a freshwater lake named Taal lake that resides within a volcanic caldera.
Balicasag, tiny island off the coast of Panglao Island, Bohol, is simply heaven for those who love diving and swimming with the fish.
