Meet Hwang Hyun Joo — Victoria’s Secret’s First Korean Model And Seoul National University Graduate
Hwang Hyun Joo has been making belated headlines for becoming Victoria’s Secret first ever Korean model. The model, who was born in 1992, was born and raised in South Korea. She has been promoting in the states with DNA Models since 2017 and has been impressing with her abilities. While it hasn’t been too long since the start of her American career, her resume has exploded as she continues to stun with her modeling skills.
The 5’9 model, who goes by Joo Joo in the states, has previously modeled for Sports Illustrated,
Venice Magazine,
Harper’s Bazaar Singapore,
and Oscar de la Renta.
Her most recent achievement, however, has been belatedly making headlines. Hwang Hyun Joo has officially joined the Victoria’s Secret team as the first ever Korean model to model their lingerie! Here she is on the lingerie company’s website with three other models,
and again in another group campaign photo for Victoria’s Secret.
Then we have a couple of her solo modeling shots! We first have Hwang Hyun Joo modeling a green bikini,
and then here she is showing off a pink bralette and some floral underwear.
Don’t let her visuals fool you, however, as Hwang Hyun Joo boasts the beauty and the brains. It was revealed that the model previously graduated from South Korea’s top university, Seoul National University!
Seoul National University is the most prestigious and highly coveted university in the nation, with thousands of applicants fighting for a spot to attend the school. It is widely famous for being one of the most difficult schools to get accepted into, let alone graduate from. It was reported that Hwang Hyun Joo graduated from Seoul National University with an education degree before transitioning her passion into modeling.
