Dogs are often described as “man’s best friend” and that is no exception for BTS and their furry friends!
BTS‘s Suga has a brown toy poodle named Holly (also written as Holy). The usually stoic BTS member melted hearts when he posted a picture on his Instagram story from Holly’s birthday party.
In the photo, Suga prepared a slice of cheesecake and a new teddy bear for his beloved dog’s special day. Suga is no stranger to sharing his love for Holly. He often lights up when asked about him on live broadcasts.

Suga again showed his love when he posted an adorable photo of the two snuggling on the couch.
Fans also pointed out that Suga keeps a parenting diary for Holly to keep track of their precious memories together.

As if the birthday party wasn’t heartwarming enough, one fan posted about another meaningful detail in the photo. It turns out that the “Holy” nameplate was gifted to Suga by this fan in 2017. She further shared that she had given it to Suga’s dad. She wrote, “Really… My hands were shaking… and I’m freaking out…. I sent Yoongi’s dad a sign with Holy’s name back in 2017 ㅠㅠ And I met it again on Insta ㅠㅠㅠ”

No you were right — you had it correct all along! English speakers thought it came from the female name Holly and it was spelled double L sometimes in hashtags but apparently the origin of his name was from Holy Water (Seongsu-dong) which has only 1 L. 💜So it’s perfect💜 https://t.co/bqdC0gvShp
