ITZY Only Needed One Second To Identify BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love”
In only a second, ITZY not only correctly identified BLACKPINK‘s “Kill This Love” but it led to one epic moment that was a pure win for all MIDZYBLINK!
ITZY just held their first showcase in Manila and in between delivering stunning performances and delighting fans through their mini-interviews, they had a blast playing some mini-games including the notoriously hard “one-second intro quiz.” In the game, ITZY were tasked with correctly identifying K-Pop songs based on the first second of the song.
ITZY proved themselves to be the ultimate K-Pop connoisseurs as they correctly guessed the songs, but as the game continued, things got even more intense! With the final round coming up, ITZY tensely waited to hear the last clue.
But they didn’t have anything to worry about at all! Although a single second isn’t very long, as soon as ITZY heard the note, they all rushed forward to give their answer. Yuna ultimately got the honor of identifying the song and she was absolutely confident that it was none other than BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love”!
She was right of course! With her lightning-quick reflexes still in full swing, Yuna quickly dragged Yeji to the front of the stage for a special dance cover of the song…
Which Yeji, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna completely crushed! As they danced along to the song, they nailed all the moves and left everyone cheering!
This isn’t the first time that they’ve left MIDZYBLINK breathless with some seriously stunning BLACKPINK covers. Earlier this year, they left everyone breathless with their dance cover on Idol Room! And like their Idol Room performance, this one is leaving a huge smile on fans’ faces.
