ITZY’s Lia And Yuna Take A Stand On The Pineapple On Pizza Debate – With A Twist
Whether or not pineapples belong on pizza is a debate that will seemingly never be resolved. And, much like the debate over whether mint chocolate ice cream is delicious or tastes of toothpaste, even K-Pop idols usually have strong opinions.
Whether it’s CRAVITY having a chaotic argument over the topping.

Or BTS‘s Jin taking the debate a step further and suggesting that, since BTS likes pineapple on pizza, they should try pineapple on McDonald’s food.

ITZY has also been a part of the debate, with Yeji, Ryujin, and Chaeryeong believing that pineapple is not a good pizza topping. And Lia and Yuna both defending it.

And in ITZY’s most recent vlog, which was of Lia and Yuna spending time together, getting a tarot card reading, and going to a restaurant, the two have once more defended their love of pineapple on pizza.
Lia and Yuna choose a beautiful restaurant where they briefly admire the view…
… before carefully examining the menu and deciding exactly what they want to order. Because the two members “have matching appetites,” they can easily decide what dishes they both would want to share.
The two actually almost don’t order a pizza at first, but Lia insists that it’s necessary to “complete the picture.”
And while all the dishes they ordered live up to their delicious-looking appearances…
They both agree that seasoning food with peperoncino is the best.
Which, of course, leads to the discussion of spicy pizza. Which, Lia claims, is the best kind of pizza.
Yuna eagerly shares that Lia and her favorite combination of toppings for pizza is the controversial pineapple along with jalapeños to give it a spicy taste.
Although having pineapples on pizza, let alone combining pineapple with jalapeños, might not be to everyone’s taste, it’s good that Lia and Yuna each have someone else they can share their unique taste with.
