The Members of ITZY Don’t Put Trust Into MBTI Compatibility, Here’s What They Say To Do Instead
The members of ITZY are thoughtful, sweet, and based on their answers to just one hypothetical scenario, very good to have as friends.
Chances are you’ve heard of MBTI. If not, it’s essentially a test that determines your personality out of 16 different types, and is often used for helping individuals understand their communication preferences and how they interact with others.
The members of ITZY were recently asked the following: “A friend I like is so into MBTI but our MBTI compatibility is bad, what should I do?”
The members themselves have previously taken the test, but that doesn’t mean they all put a lot of faith into it.
Yeji would rather not use MBTI as a marker for friendship. She says, “Don’t trust it so much. Don’t judge people by their MBTI. So you don’t have to think about it.”
In this situation Lia would avoid talking about it. She says, “I don’t think the MBTI compatibility is absolutely right. But the friend might think so. So I think it’d be better you not tell him/ her your MBTI.”
Ryujin‘s strategy is to fake it until you make it. She says, “Pretend your MBTI is the type going best with the friend’s, get close, that’ll work.”
Chaeryeong would rather focus on the relationship with the other person. She says, “I think that doesn’t matter, just get close.”
While Yuna seems to find MBTI interesting, she doesn’t think it’s always the best solution. She says, “I’m also very into MBTI, but I think this depends on how much you think about each other. So I hope you don’t think about the MBTI.”
While MBTI can be fun to talk about, the members of ITZY don’t think it can break a friendship. All of their answers show a level of maturity that definitely could make a friendship though!
