ITZY Yeji’s Appetite Has Changed, Here’s The Heartwarming Reason Why
Recently ITZY‘s Yeji and Yuna recently uploaded a vlog to ITZY’s official YouTube channel where the two went together to a fish market where they had a good time wandering around…
… holding a crab…
… and getting to order delicious snow crab and sashimi.
As Yeji and Yuna enjoyed their delicious meal, they couldn’t help but continue to talk about how delicious the food was.
Yuna even explains that they aren’t usually able to visit fisk markets because of their busy schedules.
And, understandably, she can’t help but eat a lot of the delicious snow crab. Explaining to Yeji that she liked the taste so much because it was savory.
Yeji then mentions that it’s understandable since “the appetite does change as we grow.”
Even her own taste has changed since she doesn’t “eat [many] crackers these days.”
She doesn’t “even carry crackers to the practice room” as a snack.
Yuna expresses her shock at Yeji’s new eating habits since she used to mostly rely on crackers as snacks to get her through schedules.
It always confused Yuna because she didn’t understand why Yeji would eat “chicken-flavored crackers when craving for a chicken.”
Or eat “shrimp-flavored ones instead of a real shrimp.”
Yeji explained that while she used to eat a lot of crackers, that changed when she went back to her home during a vacation.
While at home, her mom would make breakfast for her when she woke up.
And then she would go out to lunch with friends and eat another delicious, filling meal.
And then, when Yeji would return home at night, her mom would make her dinner.
Because idol schedules are so busy and idols wouldn’t have much time to cook regular meals for themselves, Yeji wasn’t used to having a regular schedule for her meals.
But once she’d been home to eat her mom’s meals, she started to lose her appetite for snacks and started to prioritize eating meals.
Yuna totally understands Yeji’s reasoning, adding that it makes perfect sense since Yeji hasn’t properly been home since she was little.
It’s definitely lovely that Yeji’s mom was able to help Yeji prioritize eating meals, and it was extra nice to see both Yeji and Yuna enjoying their meal together.
