Avril wore the AREA suit as it came, making no modifications. Perhaps, it’s because it literally looks made for her! Still, she’s not the only one who rocked this look either.
One of the many stylish looks that ITZY‘s Yeji wore in the newly released “LOCO” MV was the same pink checked suit from AREA. Still, she made it her own, adding even more individualism to it.
Rather than wear it as it comes, she actually wore the pants altered, baring some more skin. And instead of a sparkly bralette like Avril, she upped the girly look with the “Off-White Animal Poodle Corset” from Ashley Williams, costing $520 USD.
Honestly, we’re obsessed with both Avril and Yeji’s styling of this AREA pantsuit. It’s “as if” Cher from Clueless went to Hot Topic, and we love that.
And, with Yeji’s current hairstyle of the large single hot pink highlight in her hair, it reminds us of Avril too! Avril often had pink highlights during the early 2000s, helping to make it an iconic aesthetic.
