This might have led to IU and Chinese actress and singer Chen Zhuoxuan (also known as Krystal Chen) wearing the same dress!

Both stars wore the ‘Provocation of New Colors’ Collection Gown in grey-green, that Korean designer Choi Jae Hoon created. The dress is only available by in-store appointment. The dress, as worn by the model, is somewhat sheer and features a long train.

IU wore the dress to the Cannes film festival and slightly altered it to be off the shoulder.

This was done probably to draw attention to the beautiful and jaw-droppingly expensive jewelry that accompanied her look. IU wore the The CHAUMET Joséphine Duo Éternel earrings ($23,000 USD) and a diamond necklace from the same brand ($88,862 USD).

Chen Zhuoxuan is known for participating in Produce Camp 2020 and subsequent debut in the winning group BonBon Girls 303, as well appearances in the Chinese dramas The Untamed and To Dear Myself.
