IVE’s Jang Wonyoung And THE BOYZ’s New Wore The Same Miu Miu Outfit, But Served Completely Different Vibes
When it comes to fashion, K-Pop has continued to prove that style has no gender. With trends coming and going, netizens have seen idols wearing the same clothes, and it has become increasingly common to see male and female idols wearing the same items of clothing.
Yet, recently two idols have gained attention for wearing entirely the same outfit, and it’s none other than IVE’s Jang Wonyoung and THE BOYZ‘s New.
One brand that has become increasingly popular with idols is Miu Miu, and it has particularly caught the attention of netizens for bringing back the “Low rise” trend that hasn’t really been seen since the early 2000s. Yet, it has come back with idols and actresses alike rocking the look.
In particular, IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has always loved wearing the brand, especially considering she is the global ambassador for Miu Miu and has slayed wearing various looks from them.
Therefore, it wasn’t too surprising when, back in April, Jang Wonyoung braced the cover of Y Magazine in an editorial wearing Miu Miu clothes.
Yet, one caught the attention of fans the most. In one photo, Jang Wonyoung was wearing a pair of khaki low-rise pants with a cropped blue shirt and sweater, teamed with the iconic Miu Miu underwear.
Showcasing her stunning proportions and abs, Jang Wonyoung looked stylish, sophisticated, and glamorous in the look.
Although the idol looked amazing and has been known for her immense fashion choices, THE BOYZ’s New has also been praised for his taste in clothes that break gender stereotypes.
In particular, he has always been praised for hitting back at haters who criticize him for his fashion, emphasizing that clothes are genderless.
Well, the same was seen in a recent Instagram post from the member when New posted images of himself wearing the same Miu Miu look as Wonyoung. The idol was posing in a fashionable outfit and showcased his “Model behavior” for fans worldwide.
Many also noticed that, unlike many male idols, he exposed his toned midriff in the photos, despite it not being for a photoshoot or performance.
New showcased his confidence in the outfit and caught the attention of global fans for being the first male idol to wear the low-rise fit.
Along with the patent low-waist beige pants that can retail for over $1300 USD, both Jang Wonyoung and New are also wearing the Jersey Panty with Logo, which costs $340 USD, and the Cashmere V-neck sweater, costing $1890 USD.
Once again, K-Pop idols are showing that fashion has no gender, and although both wore it, they showcased their personality through their poses. It proves that anyone can wear the same outfit, and they just need the confidence to pull it off.
