Popular TikTok account Yurichan | Yuriko Toba (@i.am.yurichan), known for Japanese street interviews, is going viral due to a man’s hot takes on the LGBTQIA+ community and “cheating” on one’s significant other.

When asked how he felt about the LGBTQ+ community, he responded that he had no negative feelings and was accepting of everyone. He confessed he had had gay friends and even went to a hotel with one and had “normal sex” to experience the world for himself. While it made him realize he is not gay himself, he considered it a good experience and has remained an ally.

Netizens on both TikTok and X were pleasantly surprised by the man’s responses to the various questions regarding the LGBTQIA+ community. Many called his actions “real allyship,” commending his open-mindedness.

While the man is praised for his refreshing openness to sexuality, a previous video featuring the man was not received as kindly. The previous video, which has 465.2K videos currently, spoke about the controversial stereotype that Japanese men tend to cheat. He claimed it was true, but he wasn’t guilty of it. On the other hand, he didn’t believe going to a brothel counted as a form of cheating.
