Jay Park said cute women weren’t really his style, but they had recently become his type. So, he chose IU as his ideal type.

Next, Jay Park was asked to choose between Suzy and IU.

Once again, he chose IU.

Roughly 8 years later, Jay Park and IU released their collaboration, “GANADARA.” This sweet, romantic song is written from the perspective of someone who is falling for somebody that they can’t fully communicate with due to a language barrier.

The video breaks the fourth wall by showing what happens on the music video set and by showing Jay Park talking with his team about trying to contact IU for the video shoot. When she finally shows up on set, he adorably runs out of his dressing room to meet her.

Netizens were shook by Jay Park and IU’s chemistry on set.

K-Pop fans have known for years that IU is Jay Park’s ideal type, and they talked about how cool it is that he finally got the chance to work with her on Twitter.

Jay Park also made an appearance on IU’s talk show Palette to celebrate the release of the song!

Their friendship has not ended though, with the two posing together at a Gucci event back in January.
