Netizens were shocked to hear about another idol group debuting and were even more surprised by the name. They couldn’t take it seriously.
They were not supposed to take it seriously, although many mistakingly did. Brownie Tuesday is not a real K-Pop group.
In the 2023 comedy film Joy Ride, starring Ashley Park, Stephanie Hsu, Sabrina Wu, and Sherry Cola, the main characters disguised themselves as the fictional K-Pop group Brownie Tuesday. They attempted to prove it by dressing up and covering Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion‘s “WAP.”

While you can’t expect to see Brownie Tuesday go on tour or appear on Music Bank, you can stream their cover on Spotify.
