Kim Gu Ra Called Out For Treating Rappers Differently Since His Son Became One
Kim Gu Ra is known as a tough cookie to please. Since his days as a shock jock on the internet, the comedian has made a living off of telling it like it is. However, it seems even this, most-hardened of television personalities, has a weak spot for rappers.
Could it be because his son, MC Gree, is one?… Of course, it is! Whether he likes to admit it or not, his newfound love for rappers was put on front street on an episode of Radio Star.
On this day, rapper and producer Gray made an appearance.
Kim Gu Ra poured his admiration for the rapper and producer saying, “Gray is an extremely famous musician.”
The comedian further explained that the musician makes music for Jay Park, LOCO, and Simon Dominic, among others.
Kim Gu Ra even called Gray the Teddy of AOMG, alluding to YG Entertainment’s super producer. That is high praise from the comedian known for being unpleasant to those he doesn’t respect.
Co-host Yoon Jong Shin then chimed in, “Ever since his (Kim Gu Ra) son became a rapper, he has suddenly become nice to rappers,” causing laughter.
Yoon Jong Shin further explained, “Kim Gu Ra treats rappers as he would treat his son’s teachers, being nice to them so they will be nice to him (MC GREE).”
Kim Gu Ra denied all claims, saying, “I’ve always been a fan and worked with rappers.” Kyuhyun then put the argument to rest when he remarked, “I remember you used to be half asleep when rappers would come as guests, you never cared.”
At the end of the day, though, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that Kim Gu Ra knows what matters most, and that’s being the best dad he can be!
