BTS's Jungkook Is Having The Time Of His Life Watching "Twenty Five, Twenty One" And The Leads, Kim Tae Ri And Nam Joo Hyuk, Are Total BTS Fans Too

BTS‘s Jungkook proved himself to be an avid watcher of the recent hit K-Drama, Twenty Five, Twenty One. He recently updated his Instagram story with an adorable clip of himself enjoying the show. Listen carefully and you can hear Jungkook bursting with laughter in the background!

Twenty Five Twenty One tells the story of Na Hee Do (played by Kim Tae Ri) and Baek Yi Jin (played by Nam Joo Hyuk). Hee Do is a 19-year-old (Korean age) fencer with big dreams, while Yi Jin is a 23-year-old (Korean age) young man rebuilding his life after the financial crisis bankrupted his chaebol family. The drama follows the tale of these two friends-to-lovers as they figure out their career path and future together.

While Jungkook has joined the legions of fans of the hilarious coming-of-age flick, a look back in time showed that the leads are most definitely fans of BTS too.

Male lead Nam Joo Hyuk once showed off his singing and rapping chops by jamming to BTS’s “DOPE”. Back in 2016, he appeared in the reality show, Celeb Bros, with actor Ji Soo. The fact that he was the one that requested for the song to be played, as well as how he memorized the entire song’s lyrics, proved that he was most definitely a fan.

On the other hand, actress Kim Tae Ri recently admitted that she was a fan of the group in an interview with ELLE Magazine.

She was asked for the most interesting thing that was happening in her life recently, and she claimed that it was becoming an ARMY! She went on to prove just how much of a fan she was and how she spent her time getting her daily dose of BTS.

Me becoming a BTS fan? I like how I am when I’m fangirling. While watching BTS videos on my smart phone, I’d sometimes catch the reflection of my face on the black screen. Without me knowing, I had the most content expression on my face. [laughter] To tell you the truth, this is the first time I’m fangirling after becoming an adult. I think it’s great to have the time where you can enjoy something [without thinking].

Kim Tae Ri entered the fandom through RM‘s solo song, “Intro: PERSONA.” After having it on repeat for a month, she made a decision to listen to all of BTS’s albums. Slowly but surely, she finished all of their music videos and became a fan.
