She was a member of the girl group 7Princesses, which debuted in 2003 as a child group. In 2018, however, they reunited as a regular girl group. Oh Inyoung, born in 1995, was the main vocalist and the leader of the group.

Having debuted already as an idol, however, is not her sole impressive achievement. According to a K-Pop database, Oh was also an MC for KBS’s English news and interviews, worked as a broadcast journalist at the BBC headquarters in England covering women’s issues, and even participated in the production of a women’s rights documentary produced by the network.

Oh also served as the CEO of a company called Young Lab, which was also founded by her. Additionally, she is an Ivy League student, having graduated from Columbia University, where she studied film, music, and composition. She has dabbled in theater as well.

The 29-year-old’s long list of achievements, added to her vocal prowess, has already made her a public favorite internationally. Many are calling her the “Korean Bridgit Mendler,” comparing her to the American actress and singer who is also known for her all-encompassing talents.
