Everyone knows that K-Beauty is hot right now, but many don’t realize the harsh realities of lookism and sexism faced by Korean women — who find it difficult to be out in public without makeup.
Young Koreans walking the streets of one of the hottest neighbourhoods in Seoul were asked to remove their makeup in public.
The young girls were very reluctant, especially when they heard the footage could be uploaded to YouTube.
After further discussion and a promise of prize money, they agreed to reveal their bare faces — and found a new side of themselves!
