Former K-Pop Idol And Adult Actress Apologizes For High Income Requirement To Date Her
Yua Mikami is a former Japanese AV (adult video) actress. She was also a member of Honey Popcorn, a K-Pop group that made headlines when they debuted in 2018 for being filled with members who were active in the porn industry.
She recently appeared on the talk show Iwakura and Yoshizumi Show where she was asked if she would ever date a fan. She stated that it was neither likely nor unlikely. In her eyes, there was a 50% chance that this may happen.
Around 50%. It’s not zero, though.

What surprised the hosts further was her standards for her future partner. She nodded when asked if he would need to earn a specific amount in order to date her.
At least 30 million yen [around $200,100 USD].

This response garnered gasps and shocked looks from the audience. The adult actress apologized for her words but did not take them back, instead saying that the amount she specified was already on the low end for her.
I have never worked a part-time job and don’t know the average annual income and I think the amount is quite low.

She honestly stated that she would prefer if he earned more than her. Ideally, he would be taking home 100 million yen (around $670,000 USD) per year.
100 million yen [around $670,000 USD] where he can work and travel together with me.
