Where Is He Now? The K-Pop Idol Eliminated From 2 Different Survival Shows In 4 Months After Debuting Under The “Worst” Company
While many dream of becoming a K-Pop idol, the path can be tricky. Passing trainee auditions is just the first of many steps — even after making a debut, stars are not guaranteed to find the success needed to stay in their career.
One idol has suffered numerous challenges throughout his career but has not given up on his dream despite a recent setback.
In 2017, the boy group TRCNG debuted under TS Entertainment with “Spectrum.”
Unfortunately, just two years after debut, two members, Wooyeop and Taeseon filed criminal complaints against TS Entertainment for violating the Child Welfare Law, providing evidence that they were abused in multiple ways, including physically.

The company shut down in January 2021, leaving the group’s fate in the air until the following year, when it was announced the group had disbanded. After this, several group members signed with APR Entertainment, debuting as BXB.
Of the former members, Taeseon was among the last to announce new plans, finally sharing that he signed with GGA in July 2022. In February 2022, it was revealed that he would be a contestant on the show Peak Time, meant for idols to gain popularity.
Unfortunately, he was eliminated in the initial survival round before solo competitors were placed on a team. However, fans would rejoice a few days later when it was announced he would be a contestant in Fantasy Boys, a survival-style program.
Taeseon ranked in the top twelve on multiple occasions and made it to the final episode, where he just missed making the debuting group. Following the show, he returned to social media and updated fans with his day-to-day activities.
He has even shared clips of himself working inside a practice room, showing he is still working hard on his craft!

Though he has not announced any plans, fans are hopeful something is in the works for him soon!
