K-Pop trainees undergo a rigorous training schedule, but do they undergo plastic surgery even before debuting? Former K-Pop trainee Naomi spilled the details on plastic surgery, beauty treatments, procedures, and more.
Trainees would go to the dermatologists every few weeks, but those with skin issues would go more often.
Eventually, some of the trainees got Botox at the these appointments to lift the eyebrows, slim the jawline, or create the illusion of a slimmer nose when smiling.
Some would also get Botox in their trap muscles to create the coveted 90-degree neck line or even in their legs to get rid of bulky muscles.
Additionally, trainees would have their teeth fixed. Some of the treatments include braces, lingual braces (which go behind the teeth), Invisalign, and even veneers.
They would also get their teeth whitened.
When it comes to more invasive procedures like plastic surgery, trainees would go to clinics and get the opinion of the plastic surgeon on what they should have done.
After the company discusses the plastic surgeon’s opinions, the trainee would take off a random day of practice to have the procedure done. Sometimes, they would be unable to practice for 1-2 weeks while healing.
