LE SSERAFIM‘s Eunchae and TWICE‘s Nayeon got to know each other on a recent episode of “EunChae’s Startdiary.” The “Smart” singer even shared a tidbit about herself that made Nayeon’s day!
It all started when the “POP!” singer asked the LE SSERAFIM maknae if it had always been her dream to pursue a career in K-Pop. Gleefully, Eunchae revealed that she was inspired by TWICE themselves! Nayeon seemed surprised and happy to hear that.
- Nayeon: Did you always want to be an idol since you were a baby?
- Eunchae: I wanted to do it since I saw TWICE seniors!
- Nayeon: Really?
Eunchae further explained that she even performed not one but two of TWICE’s legendary songs in school—”Cheer Up” and “YES or YES.”
I even remember when I danced to TWICE’s song at my graduation ceremony. It was at the 4th grade talent show. I remember performing “Cheer Up” and also performing “YES or YES” at the graduation ceremony.

Nayeon went on to say she noticed many people fondly looking back on their school days, and Eunchae brought laughter when she called her “so cool” for that.
- Nayeon: But really, these days, I hear a lot of people saying, “I liked it so much in elementary school.”
- Eunchae: But you’re really amazing. I think you’re so cool. I also want to hear people say, “I really liked it when I was in elementary school.”
Gushing, Eunchae wholeheartedly confessed, “You were my idols. How many times am I confessing?”
