LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura Calling Herself A “Rookie” Despite Being In The Industry For 11 Years Showcases Her True Personality
After going viral earlier this month when she was spotted filming, the first episode of LE SSERAFIM Sakura‘s very own variety show, Fearless Kura, has finally been released!
The first episode of the show featured Sakura talking about her wishes and expectations for the show, including explaining that she was worried about how entertaining the show would be because she is such a big introvert.
After a long journey to the filming location, Sakura’s first task is revealed to be making 100 kg of kimchi, much to her surprise.
It’s then revealed that her first special guest and who will be helping her make the kimchi was former K-Pop idol and tv personality, Kangnam. After a hilarious moment where Sakura doesn’t recognize him, the two start planning their kimchi-making.
Kangnam asks Sakura why she hasn’t looked up a recipe on her phone, and she says that her manager has it because she is a “rookie,” causing Kangnam to ask again who the rookie is.
Sakura replies that she is talking about herself again. Kangnam then laughs, saying that she’s worked the longest out of everyone from the start of her career in Japan. Sakura debuted in 2011 as a member of HKT48 at the age of 14, and promoted with both that group and AKB48 before her debut with IZ*ONE, and later LE SSERAFIM.
Sakura humbly accepts the praise from Kangnam and expresses gratefulness that her career has worked out so well for the amount of time that it has.
While she is technically a rookie with LE SSERAFIM, Sakura’s sweet reactions show off her humble and hardworking personality!
