LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura Recounts The Time Their Choreographer Left To Scout Kazuha…And What Happened To Their Classes
Before she was a valued member of LE SSERAFIM, Kazuha was shaking up the ballet world in the Netherlands. It’s no secret that she was personally scouted by HYBE during that time.
In a recent episode of TheKstarNextDoor, she talked about her ballet history, and fellow member Sakura even revealed what was happening on their end of the world!
According to Kazuha, she started learning ballet at the young age of 3 years old. She moved to the other side of the world when she was in high school and pursued a professional career.
I began ballet when I was 3 years. Then I went to the Netherlands in high school.

When asked by host Jonathan if a trainer was personally sent by the company to scout her, she affirmed it. However, her move was delayed because she needed to apply for a visa.
“Yes. I couldn’t come to Korea right away. I needed the visa,” she explained.
Sakura then told the story from her point of view. She recounted how their choreographer was suddenly absent from their lessons without any warning. She had no idea that they had gone on a trip to the Netherlands to make Kazuha the offer of a lifetime!
- Sakura: Our choreographer suddenly left.
- Jonathan: Suddenly?
In spite of that, their training never stopped. The girls took online classes with their choreographer in the meantime.
Jonathan jokingly asked if they “blamed” Kazuha for it, and Sakura laughed as she insisted that they found the entire situation interesting.
- Sakura: So we had online class with the choreographer.
- Jonathan: And go like, “It’s all because of her?“
- Sakura: Ah no, no, no. It was interesting. It was interesting.
