LE SSERAFIM's Sakura Fails To Recognize Her Guest Star Kangnam Even Though They've Met Before

LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura unintentionally created a hilarious moment during her solo variety program when she failed to recognize her guest star Kangnam even though they had previously met.

LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura is currently starring in a solo variety program titled Fearless Kura, created in the hopes of showing her in a variety of situations where she is “fearless.” She is initially told that she will star in a show called Sakura’s Happy Time, where she will do things she likes.

After finding out the true nature of the show, Sakura is told she will be making a large amount of kimchi as her first task, incorrectly assuming that she is to do it alone. Once she’s changed and prepared for the task, a mysterious person creeps into the filming area, confusing Sakura.

The person turns around, revealing themself as former K-Pop idol and TV personality Kangnam. Sakura doesn’t react much once he’s turned around and asks, “We have a guest today?”

Sakura asks Kangnam if he’s a comedian, and he jokingly replies that he’s the owner of the house and just a regular person. Sakura initially believes him until he shares that his name is Kangnam, causing her to finally catch on to who he is.

Kangnam hilariously asks if she truly didn’t recognize him as they had previously appeared on the same show together and even had exchanged numbers. He has somewhat of an existential crisis, wondering if he’s changed that much since they last met.

Sakura admits that she really didn’t recognize him and Kangnam good-naturedly jokes that the two will have a hard time on the show together.
