LE SSERAFIM Sakura’s Treatment Of The Trainee That Missed Out On Debuting In The Group Showcases Her True Personality
Following the introduction of the twenty-two trainees competing in HYBE LABELS‘ new girl group audition program, R U NEXT?, K-Pop fans have been waiting to learn more about the participants.
While some, like Chanelle, were recognized for their pre-debut activities…
…there is still a lot unknown about the trainees! To fill that gap, as part of the latest released content, the contestants were interviewed on their pre-debut experience, including misconceptions and stereotypes that people may have about their time as a HYBE trainee.
Each time a stereotype was presented, trainees that it applied to would step forward. For example, the group was asked about popularity among guy friends, and Haseul, Yunah, and Moa stepped forward to explain.
Near the middle of the content, the trainees were presented with the stereotype that they must have a lot of friends that have already debuted. Many of the group moved forward to confirm that this was true.
Ruka shared that she is friends with LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura and stays in touch with her!
Ruka famously was initially picked as part of LE SSERAFIM’s debut team before being told she would not debut in the group.
The trainee says that she recently asked Sakura for performance advice, questioning her on making facial expressions while on stage.
Sakura kindly advised her to act as if she were “the main character of the song.”
Fans love that the two have stayed in contact and that Sakura can advise Ruka on her debut path!
