Netizens Are Looking for Lee Seung Gi in the Midst of the Coronavirus Outbreak
Upon the discovery of the third case of the COVID-19 coronavirus in South Korea, online posts looking for Lee Seung Gi has taken over the internet.
Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that the 54-year-old Korean man who lived in Wuhan, China has been hospitalized and receiving intensive treatment.
This patient returned from Wuhan, China on the 20th and was discovered to carry the virus on the 25th.
Aside from the confirmed cases, there are 32 other suspected cases, and it’s predicted to continue spreading throughout the country.
In the midst of the outbreak, Korean netizens have been desperately looking for actor Lee Seung Gi online.
Multiple posts on social media and online communities are asking for the actor’s whereabouts.
Although this is a serious issue throughout the world, Lee Seung Gi is known to have dodged quite a few disasters in the past.
Back in 2011, Lee Seung Gi was scheduled to promote his drama but canceled it due to another program. At the time, Japan suffered a major earthquake.
And in 2012, when a powerful typhoon called Bolaven hit Korea, Lee Seung Gi coincidentally flew abroad right before and avoided the disaster.
This could very well be a coincidence, but netizens are still wondering where Lee Seung Gi out of pure curiosity.
