LOONA’s Label Blockberry Creative Is Set To Debut A New Girl Group This Year

Since late last year, Korean entertainment company Blockberry Creative, best known for being the label of LOONA, has been teasing a new girl group in the making.

Since October, three former contestants from Girls Planet 999 — Choi Yeyoung, Ryu Sion, and Joung Min — have been active on social media accounts under the username @blockberry_bebez, hinting at what was soon to come.

It eventually became apparent that a new girl group named BEBEZ was in the making, and it seems like their debut isn’t too far away!

A post by Twitter user @BEBEZSource showed schedules for comebacks and debuts during 2022, and BEBEZ could be seen among the listings.

And so, here is what we know so far about the new Blockberry Creative girl group! Though only three members have been announced so far, BEBEZ is set to be a seven-member group when they debut.

The first member announced was Yeyoung, who made it to episode 8 of Girls Planet 999 with a final ranking at #17 for the Korean contestants.

She’s a former trainee of both The Black Label and Polaris Entertainment, and is most well-known for her vocal abilities. She was born on May 31, 2000, making her almost 22 years old and a Gemini!

The second member revealed was Sion, who made it to episode 5 of Girls Planet 999 with a final ranking at #28 for the Korean contestants.

She’s a former trainee of Mystic Story, and graduated from the prestigious Seoul School of Performing Arts. She was born on March 7, 2001, making her 21 years old and a Pisces!

Finally, Min was the third and most recent member of the group to be revealed, and she made it to episode 5 of Girls Planet 999 with a final ranking at #30 for the Korean contestants.

She was born on August 5, 2004, making her 17 and a Leo. Not much is known about her beyond this yet!

BEBEZ will be the first girl group debuted by Blockberry Creative since LOONA debuted in 2018, so it will be exciting to see what they bring to the K-Pop industry!
