3 Reasons Why Odd Eye Circle Chose To Join The Company Of LOONA's Former Producer Jaden Jeong

Following an intense legal battle with BlockBerry Creative due to contract disputes, former LOONA members Choerry, Kim Lip, and JinSoul are returning to the industry as a trio.

Their sub-unit, Odd Eye Circle, is now under ModHaus, the company that houses tripleS. It is also prominent for being run by an important figure in LOONA’s career: Jaden Jeong.

He used to be the creative director and producer of BlockBerry Creative who played the biggest role in LOONA’s initial concept and discography. This included the “LOONAVERSE”—the unique lore behind the group—and the creative direction of the members’ solos.

It is not surprising, therefore, that the trio were willing to restart their careers with the very person who started it all. Choerry confirmed that he has always supported the members internally and thus they aren’t afraid to trust him.

Kim Lip added that working with Jaden Jeong helped them with their goal of “bringing the old storyline” of their lore back to their new releases.

We are trying to bring our old colors and our musicality along for the new journey and the new release. And we’re also bringing the old storyline of our worldview with us for this.

Finally, they are confident in his skills as a producer and CEO. This is something they said will be evident in all aspects of their new album Version Up.

Odd Eye Circle is the second sub-unit to come out of LOONA. They terminated their contracts with BlockBerry Creative in January 2023. Along with member Heejin, they joined ModHaus in March of the same year.
