This man and his dog live in a giant abandoned luxury complex

This 75-year-old Chinese man has been living alone in an abandoned luxury complex for nearly 7 years.
Gao’s only companion is his faithful dog, who he found as a stray and has taken care of ever since.
When construction first began for the villas in 2009, investors put over $43 million USD into the project.
But it was quickly abandoned and all the construction equipment was left sitting with the half-built houses.
Gao receives $260 a month to take care of the abandoned houses, where he has a small vegetable garden and lives completely alone.
The eerie town has over 70 villas that are all half-completed and has since started growing weeds in the absence of any construction.
