Meet The “Street Woman Fighter” Dancer Who Is Now In A Rookie Girl Group
Mnet‘s Street Woman Fighter is one of their most successful survival programs. The first season was a hot topic online, gaining the participating dance crews a legion of fans.
Since the show aired in 2021, one popular contestant has switched careers from being a backup dancer to a K-Pop idol. Emma, the maknae from the dance crew WANT, is now a member of BADVILLAIN.
Besides Emma, WANT consisted of members Rozalin, Moana, Hyojin, and former IZ*ONE member Chaeyeon. They ended up at fourth place out of eight teams.
During the show, she gained attention for “having no bones” in the body roll that she exhibited during one of the battles.
She debuted as a member of BPM Entertainment girl group BADVILLAIN on June 3, 2024 with the album Overstep. Unsurprisingly, she holds the main dancer position as well as leader and rapper.
Emma was born on April 26, 2000 and grew up in Vancouver, Canada. Before she entered the entertainment world, she was a prodigy who only began dancing when she was 16 years old.
She ended up having the opportunity to appear as a backup dancer in Kang Daniel‘s song Antidote and Hyuna‘s and DAWN‘s track Ping Pong.
