Chinese Douyin influencer Meina recently told her plastic surgery horror stories to her 2 million followers.

As a transgender woman, she received hate comments online about her “masculine” facial features. Opting for plastic surgery to feminize her face, she could never have predicted what happened next.

She spent 1.3 million yuan ($183,000 USD) on surgeries, including a jaw bone reduction surgery. However, she suffered numerous complications that damaged some of her facial features.

She was left with a crooked jaw that’s apparent when she smiles, as well as uneven eyes.
