Mister International 2017 Is From South Korea, And It’s No Wonder He Won
Lee Seung Hwan has won the Mister International 2017 competition as Korea’s representative – and it’s no surprise.
Lee Seung Hwan was crowned the 12th Mister International 2017 (for 2018) when he beat more than 25 men from countries including Lebanon, Panama, Brazil, Colombia, Switzerland and Finland in Myanmar on April 30.
The competition has been run by The Mister International Organization since 2006, becoming one of the largest male beauty pageants in the world. It seeks to “empower men to develop the confidence they need to achieve their personal best.”
Lee Seung Hwan is a 183 cm-tall, 24-year-old university student, studying Sports Rehabilitation at Dankook University.
He wishes to become a Sports Science professor.
He became Korea’s representative in October last year, succeeding Mister International Korea 2016 Gu Yeong Jung.
According to the Mister International website, Mister International receives a year-long salary; accommodations in an apartment for the duration of his reign while in Singapore, including living expenses; a modeling portfolio by leading fashion photographer Raymond Saldana; professional representation by the Mister International Organization; and travel representing sponsors.
International viewers are celebrating Mister International Korea’s win, with many saying they knew he would win as soon as they set eyes on him.
- “I knew it! I knew it. I can’t stop watching him since I first saw his face.”
- “Very handsome and humble…love him.”
- “Korea deserves it.”
- “The fact that I supported him aside from Philippines because oppa is life.”
He’s got an amazing body and is, like the competition states “distinctively handsome”…
But also seems like he has the brains and personality to match!
It’s no wonder he was able to represent Korea in the international competition!
