The Sweet Thing MONSTA X’s Kihyun Did To Help MAMAMOO’s Wheein
MAMAMOO‘s Wheein recently paid a visit to Midnight Idol hosted by MONSTA X‘s Kihyun and I.M. Wheein was there to promote her new mini-album WHEE, but fans can’t help but notice this sweet interaction between her and Kihyun.
Kihyun is known for his sensitive nature. He always tries to make the people around him comfortable and shows his personality in many ways. Sometimes he shares food with staff behind the camera.

Other times, Kihyun spends his own money to treat those around him.
Remember when everyone chose Kihyun for the question “who’s most likely to spend the most money” because he usually spends it on the staff and those who are younger than him!
He loves to spoil everyone around him♥️🥺#기현 pic.twitter.com/oIiYQQyqm5

In this particular situation, Kihyun noticed that Wheein kept touching the sofa she was sitting on. Kihyun then handed her his hamster doll to hold in order to give her something to do with her hands.
Fans couldn’t help but point out how sweet this gesture was. They even noted that since Wheein has been known to suffer from anxiety, this meant even more. Fans speculate he may have known this and did it to help make her feel more comfortable.
If you followed Wheein, you know she suffers from anxiety, and seeing how Kihyun handed her the little hamster doll as a 'comfort doll', i think he knows about Wheein's anxiety too. He couldve just dismissed her touching the sofa, but the man did not! https://t.co/0KKTrQhFwE

Though small, this is not the only time Kihyun has proven that he has a sweet character, and it’s not the only time fans have noticed.
Later in the program, fans also couldn’t help but take note of how well Kihyun and Wheein’s voices blended together. Back in 2016, Wheein featured on MONSTA X’s song “Ex Girl,” so it was only fitting that they do a 2022 rendition.
they sound so good singing ex-girl together. the way their voices blend??? 😩💗
