The Story Behind MONSTA X’s Minhyuk Accidentally Sending His Manager A NSFW Message

In an interview with NCT‘s Jaehyun and Johnny for their radio show NCT Night Night, MONSTA X opened up about their group chat, explaining that Minhyuk is the most active member. Although some members focus on sharing opinions about their work, Shownu explained that Minhyuk likes to send funny pictures and memes.
Kihyun quickly chimed in with a story of when Minhyuk thought he was texting the members’ group chat, but instead, he was texting the one with their manager.

Although Kihyun couldn’t remember what Minhyuk had sent, Minhyuk instantly knew what he was referencing, worried it wouldn’t be appropriate to share on the broadcast.
It’s a bit iffy to talk about it on broadcast.

Minhyuk explained that what he’d shared was “slightly sensitive” and definitely not intended for his manager’s eyes.

But the manager was a good sport, just laughing in response to the accidental message.
Given Minhyuk’s worry about sharing the story on broadcast, it’s understandable fans thought that he had sent something inappropriate, like a nude photo. And their belief is only furthered by other stories MONSTA X have shared about frequently seeing each other in different states of undress.

But given Minhyuk’s ambiguity, it’s difficult to determine what “sensitive” message he sent, which could have been anything from an inappropriate photo or meme to criticism he didn’t want his manager to see.
