Actress Moon Geun Young started her career as early as 1999, in the movie On The Way. She first made an appearance on the small screen through the 2000 K-Drama Autumn In My Heart. She was only 13-years-old when she acted as the younger version of Song Hye Kyo in it.
Through the years, she took on many childrens’ roles. Her first role as an adult character was 2008’s The Painter Of Wind. She played the talented Shim Yoon Bok in the sageuk.
Later on, Moon Geun Young gained popularity through her role as the “stepsister” in the hit drama Cinderella’s Stepsister. The unique drama showed the uncommon point of view of the stepsister to the perfect and kind Cinderella.
Her last mainstream role was 2019’s Catch The Ghost opposite Kim Seon Ho.
She has not appeared in anything since, although she continues to update fans about her whereabouts through social media. Moon Geun Young prefers to show her bare face to fans.
