Author Murray Stein Thanks BTS And ARMYs And Dedicates New Book To Them
Author Murray Stein released a new book titled Map of the Soul 7: Persona, Shadow & Ego in the World of BTS and delves into an in-depth examination of the album’s lyrics through a Jungian psychology perspective.
BTS’s newest album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 is the apex of the groups three album project and expresses their signature music style and concept.
The synopsis of the book explains that BTS’s songs reveal “deep reflection upon the meaning of striving and ambition, the perils of worldly success, and the resiliency of the human spirit.”
Stein also believes that “Black Swan” could be seen as somewhat of a foretelling of the deadly pandemic that took over the world in 2020. This could be similar to the dark era of wards in the 20th century that was experienced by Carl Jung.
This book will take BTS’s concepts and meanings and compare it to Jung’s psychology and help fans find their way throughout the complexities of life. The table of contents of the book reveal the three concepts found in BTS’s album; persona, shadow, and ego.

This wasn’t the first time Stein has thanked BTS and ARMYs as he also dedicated his previous book Map of The Soul: Persona to them as well.

Stein has written many books about Jung and is one of the most well-respected Jungian analysts currently.
I don't emphasize this point enough (if at all) probably because I've known him for so long, but @MurrayWSteinII is one of—if not the—most well-known, prolific, and well-respected Jungian analysts in the world. He co-founded @JungChicago and is now the president of @ISAPZURICH.
