NCT 127 Hilariously Shades SM Entertainment About Album Sales
Shortly after NCT 127‘s latest full-length album, 2 Baddies, was released, SM Entertainment caught heat for an issue with the Digipack album version sent out to fans. Despite the apology from the company and the plan to resolve it, NCTzens weren’t happy and weren’t the only ones.
During an interview with WIRED, Yuta and some of the other members seemed to throw some funny shade at the company while discussing the topic.
As NCT 127 looked at search terms about the group that were Googled most, one of them was album sales.
Immediately after Jaehyun ripped the sticker off, Yuta was already prepared with an answer that made them laugh. After all the chaos surrounding their album, Yuta said, “Don’t ask those kinds of things.”
The members were just as tired of the issue as NCTzens were. Instead of going into details about it, Jaehyun added, “Go and find out.”
As the member whose photo was missing from the Digipack albums before reprinting, Doyoung agreed, “Google it, please.”
While some fans took the group’s funny comments as shade to the company, others saw it as a flex. Regardless of any obstacles, NCT 127 always manages to sell over a million copies per album, with 2 Baddies being no exception. So there was no need to worry about the group’s album sales at all.
Watch the group laugh about it.
