NCT 127’s Taeyong Was A TWICE And Girls’ Generation Fanboy In Special Stage
With the news of NCT 127‘s Taeyong becoming a judge on the upcoming female dance show Street Woman Fighter, fans think he might’ve been hinting at it with his shoutouts to TWICE and Girls’ Generation during the group’s recent online fan meeting.
One of the special stages for OFFICE : Foundation Day was a performance of their song “Music, Dance” from NCT 2020’s RESONANCE promotions. On top of performing the track for the first time, Taeyong also treated NCTzens by adding some familiar dance moves from their female seniors.
For Taeyong’s first “So fancy, fancy” line, he decided to honor Girls’ Generation by doing the signature move for “Lion Heart”.
For his second, he played on the words of the line by using the signature hand sign from TWICE’s “FANCY”.
Thousands of fans immediately recognized the dance moves, loving how he included the dances of his seniors and put his own adorable twist on them.
It also shows how much he cares about fans, hinting at his judge position and delivering some iconic dance moves along the way.
