NCT's Doyoung And Renjun Face Their Awkwardness, And The Secondhand Embarrassment Is Real

Back when NCT 127‘s Doyoung and NCT Dream‘s Renjun unknowingly met up to attend BoA‘s concert, the two gave off the vibe that they were awkward around each other. They even earned the title “awsaz,” or awkward brothers for it.

In a humorous episode titled It’s Awkward, But It’s OK dedicated to them, the two admitted they indeed felt awkward around each other. Laughing, Renjun and Doyoung both answered, “Yes!”

They even admitted that they had never spent time alone with just the two of them. Thinking the same, they both responded, “No,” with Renjun adding, “Never.” Fortunately for them, Mark and Haechan were there to make that possible in the most entertaining yet embarrassing way.

Wearing earpieces so Mark and Haechan could guide them into becoming closer, the two met alone for the first time. Of course, the two couldn’t resist turning it into a comedy. Instead of greeting Renjun normally, Haechan told Doyoung to stand behind him and say, “Long time no see. Did you miss me?”

Before Doyoung could even get the first sentence out, Renjun was feeling the embarrassment from the sappy words. By the end, he had to hide his face.

Doyoung couldn’t hide his embarrassed smile. He wasn’t alone. Mark felt the secondhand embarrassment and let out the funniest scream, forgetting altogether that he had to guide Renjun on how to respond. When he did, it was absolute gold.

Leaving Renjun to fend for himself in the situation, he simply agreed with Doyoung, “It’s been a while.” The awkwardness had everyone bursting into laughter and Renjun questioning himself, “Ugh, what am I doing?”
