NCT’s Doyoung, SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo & Park Jihoon Wore The Same T-Shirt But Served Different Vibes
Although NCT‘s Doyoung, SEVENTEEN‘s Wonwoo, and former Wanna One star Park Jihoon all have their own unique senses of style, that doesn’t mean their outfit choices never overlap. In fact, all three recently wore the same t-shirt—but each idol’s unique vibes still shined through.
The t-shirt in question was this Apollo T-Shirt from Raf Simons. Worth around $320 USD, this short-sleeved tee from the brand’s Spring-Summer 2020 collection has a relaxed fit and features a bold purple graphic—the logo of Belgian underground label Apollo Records.
Doyoung wore the t-shirt this month in teasers for NCT 127‘s new album, Sticker, with a Raf Simons “WELCOME HOME Children of the Revolution” badge pinned to the front (worth around $100 USD). His abstract purple high-neck top and flared purple pants were also from the brand, retailing for $370 USD and $800 USD respectively. To complete the look, Doyoung wore an $850 USD Swarovski Harmonia choker.
Doyoung once revealed he likes his performance style to look cool, and this newtro-feel outfit certainly fits the bill. In his take on the jeans, Doyoung gave off an eye-catching vibe, the outfit reflecting his love for layering clothes.
Wonwoo wore the t-shirt back in July 2020 when performing “Left & Right” on SBS‘s Inkigayo. However, he wore the tee cut off at the middle under the advice of fellow member S.Coups. Completing the outfit were unique pants from Telfar‘s Spring-Summer 2020 collection.
Wonwoo says he only became interested in fashion earlier this year, but this past outfit is still perfect for his personality. In his take on the jeans, Wonwoo gave off eccentric vibes. While Wonwoo can be quiet at first, fans say his fun and unconventional side shines when he’s comfortable; given how comfortable he is on stage, it’s no surprise he can pull off this unusual fit while rapping, singing, and dancing.
Last but not least, soloist Jihoon wore the t-shirt in the music video for his May 2020 solo track, “Wing.” For a color-matched vibe, he also wore Raf Simons’ Destroy slim-fit jeans, adding black boots to complete the look.
Fans first noted Jihoon’s fashion sense on Produce 101, and he’s still serving his own unique looks to this day. In his take on the jeans, Jihoon gave off bright and youthful vibes. Jihoon has been known for his aegyo for years, so the cute side of this matchy outfit suits him well.
