NCT DREAM’s Renjun Gives The Best Advice To A Fan About First Loves
NCT DREAM‘s Renjun runs a successful radio show, Akdong Seoul, on tbs EFM that brings comfort to listeners every single day. Although the daily show may tire him out, the adorable bundle of joy never fails to give appropriate advice to the worries sent in. As the daily sessions are themed, a fan once sent in the anti-thesis to the theme of “First Love”.
As other stories talked about their happy memories with their first love, one particular listener asked, what about those that did not get to experience a first love and ended up growing up too fast? The listener shared a concern that she felt frustrated and was in deep regret that she did not get to experience the intensity of young love. She asked Renjun on what he felt about those that missed out on this.
Youth and first loves, I think if you get to experience it or not, it doesn’t matter, and there’s no need for you to be curious about it. I think, if you think first loves are beautiful, then they will really be so. But if you think that they aren’t all that, they could bring you lots of pain too. A lot of school-time first loves too, if they go awry, it could be really terrible. You don’t need to be envious of people that have this phase of emotions. Even without this, perhaps you spent your school-times pursuing your own dreams, and maybe that is something other people envied about you.

Renjun comforted the fan, telling them that perhaps, despite them missing out on some of the more intense and purer stages of life and love, they may have gained valuable experience in chasing their dreams instead!
