"There Are Two Renjuns?": Fans Can't Unsee A Trainee's Resemblance To NCT DREAM's Renjun

With so many celebrities in the Korean entertainment industry, there are moments where two of them could pass as lookalikes. In NCT DREAM‘s Renjun‘s case, he happens to have two.

Netizens previously noticed that ONEWE‘s Dongmyeong, the twin of ONEUS‘s maknae (youngest member) Xion, had enough similar facial features to Renjun that they looked alike from certain angles. It was such a hot topic that Dongmyeong even addressed the resemblance himself.

This time, a trainee caught fans’ attention for his resemblance to Renjun. When NCT posted a picture with the members of their newest Japanese unit, NCT NEW TEAM, they immediately noticed something unusual.

When looking closer at the image, multiple fans mistakingly thought Renjun was in the photo twice. While some fans even thought Renjun dyed his hair, the person on the left was the sixteen-year-old SM Entertainment trainee Ryo, who’s part of the new unit. Fans weren’t the only ones who thought the two looked alike.

When WayV‘s Ten appeared on the show NCT Universe: LASTART to mentor the trainees of the new unit, he couldn’t help staring at Ryo because of the resemblance. Ten said, “He reminds me of Renjun.”

The two also have another connection. Ryo is gearing up for his debut at the same age that Renjun made his debut in NCT DREAM. So fans can get ready to cheer Ryo on and hope to see him and Renjun interact on stage.
