NCT‘s Sion just left some of his fans more than a little stressed out.

During a recent fansign event, NCT WISH met fans in person and a fan’s moment with Sion made waves online after being translated. According to the initial translation, Sion responded to a fan telling him not to go around kissing anyone, to which he said that he could do what he wanted due to his age.

Naturally, based on the translation, many that saw the clip praised him for keeping it real.

However, there is more to the story than initially meets the eye!

As it turns out, this clip is a reference to a popular video of actor Kim Bum that has turned into a meme. In the clip, Kim Bum recreated a scene with a similar script, but added “Why no kissing? I can kiss! I’m in my 30s.”

Once the realization that it was a meme that the idol was following, fans expressed “relief” over the viral clip.
