NCT‘s Mark is more than proud to call himself a junior to the popular SM Entertainment male group EXO!
On February 22nd, many idol groups and artists attended the 6th GAON Chart Music Awards. The awards were given based on fan voting and also based on the rankings of the previous year’s music charts. EXO was honored with an astounding total of four awards that night, including two Album of the Year awards, as well as the Fan Choice Artist for as a group and group member Sehun individually.
The Album of the Year award was separated into four quarters, with EXO winning for both the second and third quarter of last year. When EXO were being presented the award, the NCT members were seen standing up and applauding for their seniors. Although all the members remained standing until the very end of EXO’s winning speech, Mark in particular was seen giving EXO big enthusiastic round of applause as he rooted for his senior group.
This wasn’t the first time Mark expressed his love and respect for EXO.
After winning the ‘New Artist Award’ at the 2017 Seoul Music Awards, Mark made sure to give a shout-out and thank his seniors.

Mark also seems to always have this awestruck expression on his face whenever he looks at an EXO member.
