What Sets Bae Ji Yeon Apart From Other “Single’s Inferno 4” Cast Members

Each season of Netflix‘s Korean dating show Single’s Inferno introduces new singles who are looking for love. Although each cast member brings a unique color to the show, many have similar backgrounds.
Models, actors, and entertainers (such as YouTubers, influencers, and former idol trainees) make up the bulk of Single’s Inferno‘s revolving cast, especially in Season 4.
For instance, let’s look at Single Inferno 4‘s female cast. Lee Si An is a model with experience as an idol trainee. Chung You Jin is a dancer, who appeared in the K-Drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. Newscaster Kim Min Seol acted in the K-Dramas Café Minamdang and Fall For You.
Bae Ji Yeon and Kim Hye Jin are models. The latter was also allegedly an idol trainee, who won the 2020 Miss Korea pageant. Kim A Rin is active on YouTube, where she shares lifestyle content. Park Hae Lin is a current acting student and a former trainee, who appeared in the survival show Mix Nine and was part of FAVEGIRLS‘s debut lineup until she left to focus on school.
Like the rest of the cast, Bae Ji Yeon has an online presence (as a fitness influencer and model), but she also has a job that takes place behind the scenes rather than in front of a camera. As a spatial designer, Ji Yeon arranges furniture for brands’ events “to match their image and values.”
Given how many cast members primarily work in entertainment, some viewers find Ji Yeon’s job “refreshing.”
