New Idol Group DKB Reveals Their Goal Is To Be Like BTS
DKB is a nine-member group that debuted on February 3 under Brave Entertainment. Their group name is short of “Dark Brown Eyes”. On the afternoon of February 3, DKB held a showcase to launch their debut album Youth at Spigen Hall in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
DKB members participated in the songwriting and composition of their album. The song “Sorry Mama” is a hip-hop dance song based on the EDM trap genre. Member D1 said, “‘Sorry Mama’ features whimsical lyrics of a wandering youth’s heart, which is characterized by a brilliant sound.”
E-CHAN, the rapper and dancer of the group, named BTS as their role models. He said, “I want to be an idol representing Korea, like my seniors.”
He showed special affection for BTS saying: “If you are late, you can run while listening to ‘RUN’. If you want to be comforted, you can listen to ‘Butterfly’, and when you feel depressed, listen to ‘FIRE’.”
DKB said there was a lot of pressure in preparing for their debut but they did a lot to meet everyone’s expectations.
