NMIXX’s Sullyoon Gets Caught Seemingly Staring At Male Idol

A clip of NMIXX member Sullyoon seemingly stealing multiple glances at a male idol has gone viral on Korean online communities.

The clip, taken at the Show Champion 2024 Yeosu Summer Music Festival last month, shows the NMIXX member on stage talking to her groupmates while a boy group is standing behind them. Many netizens claimed that it seemed Sullyoon was stealing glances at the boy group member standing right behind her while looking around. A post on X (former Twitter) shared the clip with a humroous caption, “How futileep is inner beauty.”

The male idol in question is Baekeung, who was standing behind the NMIXX members with his EPEX groupmates. EPEX is a fourth-generation boy group that debuted in 2021 and is managed by C9 Entertainment.

Many netizens found the claims of Sullyoon “staring” at Baekseung plausible, arguing that he was indeed beautiful enough to make you do a double-take. Some, however, felt that the video was being taken out of context and claimed Sullyoon’s mannerisms didn’t indicate that she was trying to look at the male idol.

This is, however, not the first time Sullyoon and Baeseung have  been seen in the same frame. The two idols have previously done a dance challenge together to EPEX’s song “Youth2Youth.”
