How Not To Make Chrysanthemum Tea, As Unintentionally Taught By MAMAMOO’s Hwasa
Chrysanthemum tea is, as its name implies, a flower-infused tea. It is a drink that is popular in East Asia, it has a light flavor that is comparable to chamomile tea. Typically, you don’t need to steep very much. As the mukbang queen, many people rely on Hwasa‘s knowledge and enjoyment of food and beverage, however, in this case, she taught us what not to do.
On that day, Hwasa decided to make tea because she’d run out of the coffee that she normally drinks. She scooped the tea directly into the cup before adding hot water to steep it…
… And, the results were… well, they were something! Her chrysanthemum tea ended up looking more like a soup than anything else.
Hwasa definitely added too much tea to the water, as she got a mouthful of petals with each sip!
Although Hwasa was unable to enjoy her tea to the fullest extent because of it’s preparation, she provided a very valuable lesson for all of us on the appropriate way to brew chrysanthemum tea.
